TIME COMPRESSION

Since 2005, we have been developing the Time Compression. 

A reflection about space , the time, memory and the realm of reality that can be recorded on a media. 
Data storage, transfer of information , the impermanence of memory. 

Time compression are for us like visual allegories of our  massive,  often saturated environment with noisy information that we memorize on a daily basis.This work is the result of research on memory and is a visual metaphor of sensory information stored in our brain.

The picture shows multiple reflections on a remembered event; Time Compressions shows the past, present, and future of an event’s reminiscence, just as the scent of a perfume affects our memory.
This unique technique unites multiple characteristic elements of a person’s life in one portrait. Past-present-future cohabit in one still image.

关于时间压缩

记忆即是时间压缩的产物，我们是生活的记录者。我们发明了一种独特的软件来将多重图像压缩融入到一张复合图像中，该图像能够随机保留不同图像不同的部分，就如同对大脑的某些记忆使用了滤镜一样。时间压缩是对记忆及其在当代环境下以信息为载体实现的视觉化研究得出的结果——通过攫取在原始移动画面中的某些静止片段。
